Betsy Goodie Bars are rich, chocolatey treats packed with peanuts and raisins, perfect for satisfying sweet cravings and ideal for parties or homemade snack times.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 c. non-fat dry milk powder
  • 1/2 c. creamy peanut butter
  • 1/8 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. unsalted dry roasted peanuts
  • 1 c. raisins

Instructions

  1. In the top of a double boiler over simmering water, melt the chocolate chips with the butter.
  2. Remove from heat.
  3. Beat in dry milk powder, peanut butter, and vanilla with a wire whisk or beater until fairly smooth.
  4. Stir in the peanuts and raisins.
  5. Spread the mixture in a buttered 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
  6. Chill until firm.
  7. Cut into 48 2-inch bars.
