Ingredients

  • 6 cups cooked apples
  • 3 cups brown sugar
  • 3 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a large pot.
  2. Bring to a boil and then simmer slowly.
  3. Stir constantly until the mixture thickens.
  4. Place the hot apple butter into sterilized jars and seal while still hot.
