Ingredients

  • 1 lb sausage
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/3 cup shortening

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients except sausage to form a dough.
  2. Roll out the dough into a rectangle shape on a floured surface.
  3. Add more flour if the dough is too sticky.
  4. Spread sausage evenly over the dough.
  5. Roll up the dough with the sausage inside and cut in half.
  6. Wrap the rolls and put them in the freezer until firm.
  7. Slice the frozen rolls into individual pieces.
  8. Bake at 425°F for 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
