Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1 egg
  • 2/3 c. milk

Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients and shortening until crumbly.
  2. Stir in egg and milk.
  3. Drop on cookie sheet or knead and cut in squares.
  4. Bake at 400° for 10 to 12 minutes.
