Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1 can blackberries, drained
  • 3 tsp. soda
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. allspice
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves
  • 3 c. flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 pkg. walnuts

Instructions

  1. Dissolve soda in buttermilk.
  2. Cream sugar and margarine.
  3. Add remaining ingredients.
  4. Pour into tube pan.
  5. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until done.
