Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups sugar
  • 1 cup salad oil
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 cups chopped plums
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat eggs, then add sugar and salad oil.
  2. Set aside. Sift together flour, baking soda, and cinnamon.
  3. Add the sifted dry ingredients to the egg mixture and fold in the chopped plums and walnuts.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased and floured loaf pan.
  5. Bake in a 350°F oven for one hour.
  6. Remove from oven and sprinkle with powdered sugar when taken from the pan.
