Ingredients

  • 6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 c. blueberries
  • whipping cream or vanilla ice cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Melt butter in a 12 x 7 x 2-inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, stir together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and a dash of salt.
  3. Add the milk and vanilla to the dry ingredients and stir until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter over the melted butter in the baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle blueberries evenly over the top of the batter.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm with whipping cream or vanilla ice cream.
