- Wash blueberries and pat dry.
- Put blueberries in a blender and puree.
- Reserve a few berries to use as garnish.
- Dissolve gelatin in water according to package directions.
- Beat egg yolks with sugar in a medium saucepan.
- Bring milk to a boil in another medium saucepan.
- Remove milk from heat and pour into egg mixture, stirring constantly.
- Return egg-milk mixture to heat and cook until thickened, stirring constantly (do not boil).
- Stir gelatin and pureed berries into the hot mixture and let cool.
- When mixture begins to set, fold in whipped cream.
- Toss a few reserved berries into the mold, then add the mixture.
- Garnish top with a few more berries.
- Refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours before serving.
