Ingredients

  • 1 quart fresh blueberries
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons tapioca
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients (blueberries, tapioca, sugar, salt, vinegar or lemon juice, brown sugar) and put into your favorite pie crust.
  2. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon butter over the filling.
  3. Put on a top crust.
  4. Bake at 425°F for 30 to 40 minutes.
