- Cut in softened margarine with a pastry cutter until the mixture resembles coarse meal.
- In a separate bowl, mix eggs, light corn syrup, and milk until well combined.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened.
- Fold in fresh blueberries gently.
- Pour the batter into a greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour and 10 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool the loaf in the pan for 10 minutes.
- Remove from the pan and cool completely on a wire rack.
