Ingredients

  • 2 to 3 lb. spareribs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. caraway seed
  • 1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can sauerkraut
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Cut the spareribs into individual servings.
  2. Season the ribs with salt and pepper.
  3. Mix the caraway seed with the sauerkraut and place in a 12 x 8-inch baking dish.
  4. Arrange sliced onion on top of the sauerkraut and pour the tomatoes over the onions.
  5. Place the seasoned spareribs on top of the sauerkraut mixture.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 2 hours.
