Ingredients

  • 1 can Eagle Brand condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cans flaked coconut
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 boxes confectioners sugar
  • 1 box semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1/2 cake paraffin

Instructions

  1. Cream together the condensed milk, melted margarine, vanilla, chopped pecans, and flaked coconut.
  2. Add the confectioners sugar and mix well until the mixture is smooth.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls and chill them for about 1 hour. Insert a toothpick into each ball.
  4. In a double boiler, melt the semi-sweet chocolate and paraffin together.
  5. Dip the chilled balls into the melted chocolate until fully coated and place them on wax paper.
  6. Remove the toothpicks from the coated candies.
  7. Keep the chocolate warm to facilitate coating if needed.
  8. Do not double the recipe.
