- Cream together the condensed milk, melted margarine, vanilla, chopped pecans, and flaked coconut.
- Add the confectioners sugar and mix well until the mixture is smooth.
- Roll the mixture into small balls and chill them for about 1 hour. Insert a toothpick into each ball.
- In a double boiler, melt the semi-sweet chocolate and paraffin together.
- Dip the chilled balls into the melted chocolate until fully coated and place them on wax paper.
- Remove the toothpicks from the coated candies.
- Keep the chocolate warm to facilitate coating if needed.
- Do not double the recipe.
