Ingredients

  • 16 ounces bowie pasta, uncooked
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 banana pepper, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 34 cup milk
  • 12 cup whipping cream
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 1 14 cups spaghetti sauce
  • 14 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 14 fresh basil, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.
  2. Melt butter over medium heat in a large skillet.
  3. Add onion, pepper, and garlic; saute until tender; stir in flour.
  4. Gradually add milk, cream, and salt; bring to a boil.
  5. Mix in spaghetti sauce.
  6. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat and pour into a serving bowl.
  8. Add pasta and mix gently.
  9. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and basil.
