Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup bran flakes, crushed
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/4 cup butter or oleo, melted
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 chicken breasts

Instructions

  1. In a paper or plastic bag, combine crushed bran flakes, chopped sunflower seeds, and seasoned salt.
  2. Blend melted butter, lemon juice, and salt. Brush the mixture onto chicken breasts, then shake each piece in the bag to coat lightly. Reserve remaining lemon-butter mixture.
  3. Place the coated chicken breasts, skin side up, in an ungreased large shallow baking pan.
  4. Bake in a preheated 375°F oven for 40 minutes. Do not turn the chicken during baking.
