Sweet and nutty brandied fruit balls offer a delightful treat with rich flavors, perfect for festive occasions or as a charming homemade gift.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups vanilla wafer crumbs
  • 1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (9 oz.) package None Such condensed mincemeat, crumbled
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1/3 cup chopped candied cherries
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1/2 teaspoon brandy flavoring
  • confectioners sugar or flaked coconut

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, stir together all ingredients except confectioners sugar or coconut until well blended.
  2. Using about 1 teaspoon of mixture, roll into balls; coat with confectioners sugar or coconut.
  3. Place on wax paper-lined baking sheets; refrigerate for 2 hours or until firm.
  4. Store in refrigerator.
