Ingredients

  • 2 loaves French bread
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 lb. sausage
  • chopped onion to taste
  • 1 egg
  • 8 oz. shredded cheese of your choice

Instructions

  1. Cook ground beef, sausage, and chopped onion, then drain.
  2. Hollow out the bread loaves.
  3. Mix the cooked meat, egg, and the hulled out bread.
  4. Layer shredded cheese and the meat mixture inside the hollowed-out loaves.
  5. Replace the tops of the bread loaves.
  6. Cover with foil and bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
