- Add warm water, vinegar, and vegetable oil or melted lard.
- Add more flour to make a soft dough.
- Knead to make a dough that is soft and easy to work with.
- Let rise for 15 minutes.
- Punch down the dough.
- Let rise until doubled in bulk.
- Form into buns.
- Let rise for 1 hour or until almost doubled.
- Bake at 400°F for 15 to 20 minutes.
