A rich and comforting bread pudding featuring cinnamon raisin bread, sweetened with cinnamon, vanilla, and raisins, perfect for dessert or brunch gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. cinnamon raisin bread
  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 6 eggs
  • 4 c. milk
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. raisins

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F; cut bread into 1-inch cubes.
  2. Place bread cubes on a pan and toast in the oven for 10 minutes.
  3. Remove from oven and drizzle with melted butter.
  4. Lower oven temperature to 350°F.
  5. Beat eggs in a bowl; add sugar and milk; stir until combined.
  6. Add cinnamon, vanilla, and raisins to the mixture.
  7. Pour the mixture over the toasted bread; let set for 10 minutes.
  8. Bake for 45 minutes until puffed and golden.
