Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 milk
  • 1/3 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1/4 c. sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine all-purpose flour, 1/2 cup sugar, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg in a large bowl.
  2. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients.
  3. Combine milk, vegetable oil, and egg; pour into the well and stir until just moistened.
