Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 slices white bread, cubed
  • 1 cup packed grated cheese
  • 1 pound mild sausage, browned and crumbled
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Beat the eggs and mix with milk.
  2. Add the cubed bread, grated cheese, browned sausage, and salt to the egg mixture.
  3. Let the mixture set overnight in the refrigerator.
  4. Pour the mixture into a buttered 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
  6. Let the casserole set for a few minutes after removing from the oven before serving.
