Brie En Croute

Instructions
- Saute the mushrooms in butter and Madeira until tender and they give up their juices.
- Drain the mushrooms and set aside.
- Slice the brie in half horizontally.
- Place half the mushrooms between the slices of brie.
- Put the brie back together and top with the remaining mushrooms.
- Wrap the assembled brie and mushrooms in the puff pastry sheet.
- Brush the pastry with the beaten egg mixed with water.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) until golden brown, about 20 minutes.
