Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 lb. beef brisket
  • 3 medium onions, sliced
  • 12 oz. can beer
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme
  • 4 peppercorns

Instructions

  1. Pour all ingredients over the beef brisket in a baking dish or slow cooker.
  2. Cover with foil if baking, or set slow cooker to low.
  3. Bake at 350°F for 3 1/2 to 4 hours, or cook in a slow cooker for 10 hours.
