Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 3 tablespoons vanilla
  • 6 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Cream butter with sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  2. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
  3. Alternately add sifted flour and whipping cream to the mixture, mixing after each addition.
  4. Chill the dough overnight for best results.
  5. Form the dough into 3/4-inch diameter balls.
  6. Bake the cookies in an iron or electric iron until golden brown.
