Instructions
- Remove and discard outer leaves and cut off tough ends of stalks from broccoli.
- Split heavy stalks over 1/2 inch thick lengthwise.
- Boil 2 inches of water in a saucepan and add broccoli.
- Cover the pan to allow water to steam the broccoli.
- Cook for 10 to 20 minutes or until broccoli is tender.
- Do not overcook.
