Broccoli Ham Rolls

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. oleo
  • 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. shredded cheese
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 24 stalks broccoli (tender)
  • 8 thin slices cooked ham
  • 1/4 c. bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Melt oleo in saucepan. Add flour and stir well. Cook until blended.
  2. Gradually add milk and cook until bubbly and thick. Stir in cheese, salt and pepper.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Place 3 stalks broccoli in each slice of ham.
  5. Fasten with toothpicks.
  6. Place in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Cover with cheese sauce.
  7. Sprinkle with bread crumbs. Bake at 375° for 20 minutes.
  8. Makes 8 servings.
