Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups chopped broccoli
  • 14 oz. frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 cup grated Swiss cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Sauté sliced mushrooms in 2 tablespoons of butter over high heat until tender, then set aside.
  3. Chop 2 cups of broccoli into small florets.
  4. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a baking sheet.
  5. Spread the sautéed mushrooms evenly over the pastry.
  6. Distribute the chopped broccoli over the mushrooms.
  7. Sprinkle grated Swiss cheese over the vegetables.
  8. In a small bowl, beat the egg with 2 tablespoons of milk.
  9. Brush the edges of the pastry with the egg wash.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
