Ingredients

  • 1 large head broccoli
  • 10 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 5 green onions, sliced or 1/4 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1/4 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. Trim off large leaves of broccoli and remove the tough ends of lower stalks.
  2. Wash the broccoli thoroughly.
  3. Cut the florets and stems into bite-size pieces and place in a large bowl.
  4. Add bacon, onions, and raisins to the bowl.
  5. Combine mayonnaise, vinegar, and sugar in a separate bowl, stirring well.
  6. Add dressing to the broccoli mixture and toss gently.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours before serving.
