Ingredients

  • 1 lb. stew beef
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 can beer
  • 1/2 tsp. basil
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 packages mushroom gravy mix

Instructions

  1. Brown beef in butter.
  2. Add beer, basil, salt, and pepper. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes.
  3. Stir in gravy mix.
  4. Cook for an additional 5 to 7 minutes.
  5. Serve with hot, cooked egg noodles.
