Ingredients

  • 5 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cans cream-style corn
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 16 ounces sour cream
  • 3 to 4 cups self-rising cornmeal

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix eggs, sugar, brown sugar, cream-style corn, oil, grated Cheddar cheese, salt, and sour cream together in a large bowl.
  3. Stir in 3 to 4 cups of self-rising cornmeal until well combined.
  4. Pour the batter evenly into two greased 9 x 13-inch pans.
  5. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
