Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup butter (at room temperature)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 Heath or Skor bars, chopped coarse

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Line an 8-inch square pan with foil and lightly grease it.
  3. In a large bowl, beat together the brown sugar, flour, butter, eggs, and vanilla for 3 minutes using an electric mixer.
  4. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan.
  5. Sprinkle the chopped toffee bars over the batter.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes.
  7. Allow to cool, then lift the foil with the bars onto a cutting board.
  8. Cut into bars and serve.
