Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Blend butter, cream cheese, and sugar until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.
  3. Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients alternately with milk to the creamed mixture, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan.
  6. Sprinkle with crumb mixture.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35 to 40 minutes until golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
