Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1/2 cup tomato puree
  • 1/4 tsp. oregano
  • 2 tsp. minced onion
  • 1 tsp. parsley
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 1 can (10 count) refrigerated buttermilk or country style biscuits
  • 1/3 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Melt margarine in an 8-inch round baking pan and rotate to cover the bottom.
  2. Combine tomato puree, minced onion, parsley, garlic salt, oregano, and salad oil.
  3. Separate the biscuit dough and cut each biscuit into 4 pieces.
  4. Drop the biscuit pieces into the tomato mixture, tossing lightly with a fork.
  5. Place the coated biscuit pieces in the buttered pan and distribute evenly.
  6. Sprinkle shredded Mozzarella cheese on top.
  7. Bake in a preheated 400°F oven for 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
