- Boil the peeled potatoes until soft, then mash with butter or margarine.
- Finely slice half a head of cabbage using a grinder or processor, cook, drain, cool, and squeeze out excess moisture.
- Mix the cooked cabbage with the cooled mashed potatoes, salt, pepper, and shredded corned beef.
- Form the mixture into 8 patties, dust each with flour on both sides.
- Fry the patties in 1/4 inch of vegetable oil until golden brown on both sides.
