Ingredients

  • 4 peeled potatoes
  • 1 Tbsp butter or margarine
  • 1/2 head of cabbage
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 cup shredded corned beef
  • flour
  • vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Boil the peeled potatoes until soft, then mash with butter or margarine.
  2. Finely slice half a head of cabbage using a grinder or processor, cook, drain, cool, and squeeze out excess moisture.
  3. Mix the cooked cabbage with the cooled mashed potatoes, salt, pepper, and shredded corned beef.
  4. Form the mixture into 8 patties, dust each with flour on both sides.
  5. Fry the patties in 1/4 inch of vegetable oil until golden brown on both sides.
