- Mix margarine, peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla until well combined.
- Roll the mixture into small balls and refrigerate until very cold.
- Melt chocolate chips in the top of a double boiler.
- Add a little vegetable oil to the melted chocolate for smoothness.
- Drop several peanut butter balls at a time into the melted chocolate to coat them.
- Use tongs to remove coated balls and place on waxed paper-lined cookie sheet.
- Refrigerate until the chocolate coating is firm.
