Ingredients

  • 1 cup bulgur (cracked wheat)
  • 1 cup warm beef stock
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 6 mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 large shallot, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Combine the bulgur and warm beef stock in a bowl.
  2. Let soak for approximately 45 minutes until the liquid is absorbed.
