Ingredients

  • 1 lb. mild ground pork sausage
  • 1/2 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen shredded hash browns
  • 1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 6 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 3/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • dash of pepper

Instructions

  1. Brown the sausage in a large skillet, stirring until it crumbles and is no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
  2. Layer the frozen hash browns, cooked sausage, and shredded Cheddar cheese in a greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, beat the eggs and mix in the milk, dry mustard, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the layered ingredients in the baking dish.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for approximately 35-40 minutes, or until the casserole is set and golden on top.
