Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 3 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 3 tsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Place butter in an ungreased 15 x 10 x 1 inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt; mix well.
  3. Stir in milk just until moistened.
  4. Turn onto a floured surface; knead 10 times.
  5. Roll into a 12 x 9 inch rectangle.
  6. Cut into 9 strips, each about 1/2 inch wide.
