Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 3 sticks butter
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 8 oz sour cream
  • 3 c sugar
  • 3 c flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease and flour a Bundt pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar until creamy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Mix in vanilla extract.
  5. Stir in sour cream until well combined.
  6. Gradually add flour, mixing until just incorporated.
  7. Pour batter into the prepared Bundt pan.
  8. Bake for 1 1/4 hours or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
