Ingredients

  • 4 carrots
  • 4 stalks celery
  • 1/4 medium head cabbage
  • 1 pt. tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 1 c. frozen lima beans
  • 3/4 c. frozen peas
  • 1 can yellow string beans
  • 1/4 lb. butter

Instructions

  1. Cut carrots and celery into bite-sized pieces. Cook in boiling water for 10 minutes.
  2. Cut cabbage and add to the boiling mixture. Cook for another 10 minutes.
  3. Add tomatoes, onion, lima beans, and frozen peas to the mixture. Cook until vegetables are tender.
  4. Add yellow string beans and butter. Cook until the butter is melted and the vegetables are heated through.
