Ingredients

  • 2 slices bacon
  • 4 cups cabbage, chopped
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 2 medium tomatoes
  • 2 green peppers, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Cook bacon in a large skillet until crisp.
  2. Remove bacon, reserving the grease in the skillet.
  3. Crumble the cooked bacon and set aside.
  4. Add chopped cabbage, onions, tomatoes, green peppers, and salt to the skillet with bacon grease.
  5. Cook uncovered over medium heat for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Stir in the crumbled bacon and serve.
