Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 to 3 lb ground chuck
  • 1 large head cabbage
  • 3 (No. 2) cans crushed tomatoes
  • 2 (No. 2) cans kidney beans
  • 1/2 tsp Accent
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Salt and pepper the ground chuck and brown it in a soup pot.
  2. Drain the cooked meat well.
  3. Cut the cabbage into small strips.
  4. Combine the cabbage with the cooked meat and crushed tomatoes in the pot.
  5. Add enough water to cover the ingredients.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Add Accent, sugar, and chili powder.
  8. Cook until the cabbage is tender.
