Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion
  • 3 teaspoons butter
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 3 cups coarsely shredded cabbage
  • 1 can condensed tomato soup

Instructions

  1. Saute chopped onion in 3 teaspoons of butter until translucent.
  2. Add ground beef, season to taste, and saute until browned.
  3. In a 2-quart casserole, put a layer of shredded cabbage.
  4. Cover the cabbage with a layer of the cooked ground beef.
  5. Add the remaining shredded cabbage on top.
  6. Pour a can of condensed tomato soup over the entire casserole.
  7. Cover and bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
