Ingredients

  • 2 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup grated cabbage
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions

Instructions

  1. Mix ground beef, egg, grated cabbage, chopped onions, salt, and pepper together in a bowl.
  2. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
  3. Spread catsup over the top of the loaf.
  4. Bake at 350°F for about 60 minutes or until cooked through, adjusting time based on thickness.
  5. Drain excess juice during baking to prevent the loaf from becoming too watery.
