Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz.) can pineapple tidbits (undrained)
  • 3 cups fine shredded cabbage
  • 1 1/2 unpeeled red Delicious apples
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Drain 3 tablespoons of juice from the pineapple can.
  2. Combine the shredded cabbage, chopped apples, chopped celery, and raisins in a large bowl.
  3. Mix mayonnaise with the 3 tablespoons of pineapple juice to create the dressing.
  4. Pour the dressing over the vegetable mixture and toss well to coat.
  5. Cover the salad and refrigerate for at least 6 to 8 hours to allow flavors to blend.
  6. Serve chilled, enjoying the sweet and tangy flavors.
