Ingredients
- 1/2 cup onions, sliced thin ⓘ
- 1/2 cup fresh mushrooms, diced ⓘ
- 1 tablespoon margarine ⓘ
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder ⓘ
- 1 cup canned tomatoes, chopped ⓘ
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper ⓘ
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano ⓘ
- 1/4 teaspoon basil ⓘ
- 1/4 cup red wine ⓘ
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch ⓘ
- 1/2 cup water ⓘ
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste ⓘ
Instructions
- Melt margarine in a large skillet.
- Saute onions and mushrooms with garlic powder in margarine until onions are transparent.
- Add chopped canned tomatoes, pepper, oregano, basil, red wine, tomato paste, water, and cornstarch to the skillet.
- Cover and simmer for 1 hour.
