Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoons hot coffee
  • 2 tablespoons Grand Marnier
  • 6 ounces chocolate chips
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla

Instructions

  1. Bake a single layer chocolate cake in a spring-form pan.
  2. Cool the cake completely.
  3. Combine all listed ingredients except the cream in a blender.
  4. Heat the heavy cream until just before boiling.
  5. Gradually add the hot cream through the blender cap, blending until smooth.
  6. Pour the mousse mixture over the cooled cake in the pan.
  7. Chill the cake overnight in the refrigerator.
  8. Run a spatula around the sides and release the cake from the pan before serving.
