Ingredients

  • 10 oz. frozen whole kernel corn
  • 10 oz. frozen cut okra
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped, seeded, and peeled tomato
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • several dashes pepper sauce

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, combine corn, okra, water, and salt. Bring to boiling; reduce heat.
  2. Cover and simmer about 5 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender.
  3. Drain the vegetables.
  4. Stir in chopped tomato, onion powder, and hot pepper sauce.
  5. Heat through and serve.
