Camp Vegetable Soup
Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground chuck ⓘ
- 1 Tbsp. instant minced onion ⓘ
- 1 c. tomato juice or 3 Tbsp. catsup plus 1 c. water ⓘ
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen hash browns or 2 c shredded, fresh potatoes ⓘ
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables ⓘ
- 3 c. water ⓘ
- 2 tsp. salt ⓘ
- 1/4 tsp. pepper ⓘ
- 1/4 tsp. oregano ⓘ
- 1 Tbsp. butter (optional) ⓘ
Instructions
- Brown meat quickly with onion.
- Add tomato juice.
- Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Simmer until veggies are tender.
- Makes 6 servings.
