Ingredients

  • 1 (15 oz.) can Great Northern beans
  • 1 (15 oz.) can dark red kidney beans
  • 1 (15 oz.) can black beans
  • 1 (15 oz.) can pork and beans
  • 1 (16 oz.) can whole, peeled tomatoes with juice
  • 1 (15 oz.) can whole kernel corn
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 3 Tbsp. olive oil
  • dash of barbecue sauce
  • dash of Worcestershire sauce
  • dash of V-8 juice
  • dash of white or red wine

Instructions

  1. Drain and rinse all beans, except for pork and beans.
  2. In a 6-quart pan, heat the olive oil.
  3. Add the chopped garlic and chopped onion.
  4. Cook for 3 minutes over medium heat.
  5. Add the cans of beans, chopped tomatoes with juice, and corn to the pan, stirring to combine.
  6. Add a dash of barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce, V-8 juice, and white or red wine.
  7. Lower the heat, stir occasionally, and simmer for 10 minutes.
  8. Serve by itself or over white rice.
  9. Optional: sprinkle sharp Cheddar cheese and/or tortilla chips and broil until the cheese melts.
