Ingredients

  • 2 (1 lb.) loaves frozen bread dough, thawed
  • 1 (10 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 2 c. brown sugar, packed firmly
  • 2 large pkg. vanilla pudding
  • 1 c. butter, melted
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • cinnamon
  • nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Cut one loaf of bread dough into 8 pieces.
  2. Place the bread pieces in a greased 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
  3. Mix together the brown sugar, vanilla pudding, melted butter, milk, cinnamon, and nutmeg until well combined.
  4. Sprinkle bread slices with nuts, raisins, and half of the crushed pineapple.
  5. Pour half of the creamy mixture over the layered bread.
  6. Slice the remaining loaf of bread into 8 pieces and place them on top of the creamy layer.
  7. Sprinkle this top layer with raisins, nuts, and the remaining crushed pineapple.
  8. Pour the remaining creamy mixture over the assembled layers.
  9. Cover and refrigerate overnight before baking.
